The leader in cloud security, Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO:4704), today declared the launch of its regional data lake for XDR in India for its customers, after similar launches in Sydney, and Singapore. Trend Micro Incorporated also provides Cloud App Security (for Office 365 environments) and Apex One SaaS with local sandbox capability made available through its data center in India. It addresses the growing concerns related to data localization, sovereignty. The announcement is completed at a time when Trend Micro launching its locally managed XDR center service in India the previous year.

Trend Micro is also the first company in the cybersecurity industry that offers the most extensive correlated detection for endpoint detection, and response (EDR). Trend Micro collects and analyses data from emails, endpoints, servers, cloud workloads, and networks, which enable security operations center (SOC) teams for detecting, investigating, and responding to advanced threats. Integrating directly with Office 365, Google G Suite, and other services, Trend Micro Cloud App Security sandbox uses application programming interfaces (APIs) and enforces compliance on cloud file-sharing, and collaboration tools, which include Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive for business, Microsoft Teams among others. The Virtual Analyzer cloud sandbox works in conjunction with Trend Micro’s global threat intelligence network, for the identification of potentially malicious characteristics. It is set up in partnership with Microsoft Azure, which helps companies in observation of file behavior in an environment that simulates endpoints on the organization’s network, involving no risk of compromising the network.
